Hollywood film The Other End Of The Line, a joint venture of ADLABS and Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment, was launched last Saturday.
To be directed by Jimmy Dodson, the film sees a mix of international and Indian actors. While Shreya Saran, Tara Sharma and Anupam Kher are some of the notable names from India, actors Jesse Metcalfe [DESPARATE HOUSEWIVES, JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE], Larry Miller [KISS KISS BANG BANG] and Sara Foster [THE BIG BOUNCE] would come down from Hollywood.
Ashok Amritraj prefers to call his film as a mainstream Hollywood rather than much used-and-abused term 'crossover'. With the film, he wishes to showcase the talent of actors from India to West. Even ADLABS is excited about the fact that a film like this is made under their banner which would focus on international segment, mainly US.
A light hearted romantic comedy, the film would be distributed by MGM in the US while Hyde Park would take it to the rest of the world. The film would be shot in Mumbai, San Francisco and New York till the month of March with a release plan of late 2008.
